Product details

Sodium-based conditioner for post-RO remineralization. Improves mouthfeel, supports pH/alkalinity and hardness, and helps deliver a balanced taste. Process use only.

  • Adds Ca²⁺ to low-TDS RO permeate for a more natural taste

  • Helps stabilize pH & alkalinity within your plant’s spec

  • Works in packaged water and industrial RO lines (post-treatment stage)

  • Pairs well with 9+ Quality Booster – Magnesium to tune Ca: Mg balance

  • Available from 5 ltr trials to bulk packs; SDS + dosing support

9+ Quality Booster – Sodium is a Sodium-based post-RO conditioner designed to remineralize low-TDS water after reverse osmosis. By restoring a controlled level of Sodium hardness, it enhances mouthfeel and helps steady pH/alkalinity when used as part of a validated post-treatment train (cartridge/UV, optional ozone, etc.). Use alone or blend with 9+ Quality Booster – Magnesium to meet your internal Ca:Mg targets.

Note: Configure dosing to your plant specification and applicable local standards. This is a process additive—not intended for direct consumer dosing.

How to use (quick SOP)

Position in line: Post-RO, before final polishing (cartridge/UV) and before any ozone contact.

Stock solution (typical): Prepare 10% w/v in clean RO permeate (e.g., 100 g product in 1 L). Mix until fully dissolved/clear.

Starting dose (optimize with lab tests):

  • 10–40 ppm (mg/L) as supplied to reach a typical finished Ca²⁺ setpoint ~20–50 mg/L (your spec may differ).

  • Maintain finished water pH ~7.2–8.2 and TDS as per your QA program.

Illustrative example (tune with your COA data):
Permeate flow 2.0 m³/h; target 30 mg/L Ca²⁺ → Sodium requirement ≈ 60 g Ca²⁺/h.
With a 10% stock (100 g product/L), start near ~0.6 L/h dosing, then fine-tune by lab results (Ca²⁺, total hardness, pH, TDS). Actual feed depends on product assay—verify against your COA.

Good practice

  • Use a dedicated dosing pump/line; do not mix with antiscalants/biocides in the same tank.

  • Verify upstream free chlorine <0.1 ppm at membranes (this step is post-RO, but check any blends).

  • QA each batch: pH, TDS, total hardness, Ca²⁺; adjust set-point based on results.

  • For taste profiling, adjust the Ca: Mg ratio by combining with 9+ Quality Booster – Magnesium.

Safety & storage

Wear gloves and eye protection; avoid ingestion/eye contact. Store sealed, cool, and dry—away from acids/oxidants. Refer to SDS for first aid, spill, and disposal guidance.
